Sausage Party Surprisingly Satisfies in Several Ways

Discusses Blind Faith in a Relaxed Way

The food in the store in Sausage Party subscribes to a specific set of beliefs that includes moving on to a glorious “after purchase” and worshipping the humans as Gods. Since none of the food has actually experienced this, it is all taken on blind faith. Until one food item is brought back and dispels the beliefs. Most of the food is loath to accept this new reality. The concept is a light-hearted way of bringing the concept of blind religious faith to the mat. This hasn’t really been done much in film, so it is satisfying to see.
